This year’s Special Appeal will support the installation of an enhanced door video intercom system across Mount Alvernia Academy’s campus.

Over time, MAA has made thoughtful improvements to strengthen campus safety while preserving the welcoming, faith-filled environment that defines our school. This system is the next step in that ongoing effort.

Currently, not every entrance across our four-acre campus allows staff to clearly see and communicate with visitors before opening the door—particularly in areas such as the Main Entrance and Preschool. A modern video intercom system will allow staff to visually confirm visitors, communicate clearly, and grant access from inside the building.

For families, this investment provides peace of mind. For faculty and staff, it offers practical tools that support their daily work. Most importantly, it helps ensure that MAA remains a place where students feel safe, supported, and cared for every day.
